Today, State Senator Stewart J. Greenleaf announced that Southampton Free Library and Warminster Township Free Library have been awarded over $300,000 in Keystone Grants
The Southampton Free Library will receive $199,940 to redesign their interior space, create a learning center, install LED lighting, and make restrooms energy efficient.
The Warminster Township Free Library will receive $101,500 to be used to replace their 40 year old HVAC system with an energy-efficient system.
Keystone Grants are awarded on a competitive basis by the Department of Education up to $500,000.
“Free, public libraries are invaluable assets to our communities,” said Senator Greenleaf. “They offer many important programs and learning resources for adults and children, and are highly worthy of state investment. I congratulate Southampton and Warminster Township libraries for all their excellent service and continuous improvement.”
